Stacking and Layering Jewellery

A continual trend we are witnessing season after season is the layering and stacking of jewellery. Gold jewellery has been very prolific. With the layering of dainty chokers and statement pendants as well as multiple different length necklaces. It’s a truly effective way of dressing up the simple white t shirt particularly with gold jewellery. A gold necklace can immediately make a t shirt look expensive.

This summer beaded necklaces started to make their appearance in the layering neckline making fun and flirty contrast against gold chains and pendants. However, necklines are not the only thing that can be layered. This A/W we are seeing the layered anklet trend over socks and tights. A great way to give longevity to seasonal jewellery and spice up our footwear.

We can’t depart without mentioning the ear stacking craze.  We are seeing an extension of style on ears with use of studs, hoops, cuffs, huggies and climbers. Not just in gold as we are seeing resurgence in silver slowly making its way to our jewellery boxes. These make great Christmas gifts, particularly the ear cuff so there is no pressure for more piercings.
